All our management & service mechanics must undergo a regular background scrutiny through local police officials. Not only is Universal Floors licensed in DC, MD, & VA, but all of our service people have their personally required Home Improvement License as well.  All of these licenses are only issued after a thorough & exhaustive governmental search.  Anyone operating as a flooring contractor without the required area license is violating the law & most surely endangering your home.

We are also active members of the National Wood Flooring Association.  The NWFA is dedicated to training & educating wood flooring professionals from all over the world in the installation, sanding, finishing & sales of wood flooring products.
