Unfinished Flooring
Hardwood floors that have no stain or
protective finish applied prior to
installation. Once this type of floor is
installed, additional sanding & finishing will
be required to add desired color & protection.

Prefinished Flooring
Hardwood floors that are stained with color
and sealed with a protective finish by the
manufacturer prior to installation. Usually
they have a limited warranty on finish from
the manufacturer. Once installed, no sanding
or finishing is required.
