ST. LOUIS, Missouri (April 30, 2007)
The National Wood Flooring Association is pleased to announce that Sprigg Lynn, Shawn Gorman, & Jonathan Hurley, all with Universal Floors in Washington, DC, won first place in the unfinished category of the NWFA's 2007 Xtreme Wood Flooring Makeover Contest.  The awards were presented during the NWFA's convention in Denver, Colorado, April 10-13.

To participate in the contest, teams of four members made over a 10' x 10' panel of 2-1/4 inch red oak using the materials & tools supplied by the NWFA.  Rules required that 50% of the original flooring must remain intact.  Winning entries were judged by NWFA convention attendees at the NWFA 2007 Wood Flooring Expo.
