Born at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC.  South attended Shepherd College & graduated with a bachelor of science degree in political science and with a minor in history.  Working with Universal Floors since the age of fourteen he has 35 years of full and part time employment in all phases of the operation. South is a member of several patriotic organizations including
DC Society Sons of the American Revolution, Society of the Cincinnati and Sons of Confederate Veterans. The Lynn family has resided in the DC metro area for nearly 300 years.
