Universal Floors, Inc. has been working on the
wood floors of St. Matthews Church since the
1950's. All flooring used for needed
repairs were of salvaged wood of the same time
period here in Washington, DC.
Historical Note: In November of 1963,
Universal Floors was asked to do some much
needed emergency repairs. St. Mathews
Church was preparing for the funeral of
President John F. Kennedy. The famous
photo of John F. Kennedy Jr. saluting his
father's casket was taken in front of St.
Matthews Cathedral. |
